How is OPS-C different from standard OPS?

OPS-C uses the same connector (JAE TX25) and electrical interface, but has different chassis dimensions: 195×180×30mm or 195×180×42mm (vs. 119×180×30mm for standard OPS). OPS-C is wider but the same depth or slightly thicker. Read more in our OPS vs OPS-C buyer's guide.

Will an OPS-C 30mm module fit my standard OPS slot?

Generally no — the physical dimensions are different. OPS-C modules require a display with an OPS-C compliant slot. Most major display brands have OPS-C compatible models in their current lineups (2022+). Send us your display model number and we'll confirm.

Why offer this form factor at all?

Newer IFPs from 2022 onward increasingly use OPS-C slots because they're slimmer and offer better thermal management. As display manufacturers transition, demand for OPS-C is growing rapidly. We offer both to support customers serving mixed display fleets.

Can I customize the CPU?

Yes — the OPS-C 30mm is our most configurable platform. We can ship with Intel 10th, 12th, 13th, or 14th generation i5 or i7 CPUs. The default ship config is the i5-12450H for best price/performance, but Intel i7-1360P or i7-1370P configurations are common for higher-spec deployments.

Does OPS-C 30mm support DDR5?

On 13th-generation HX CPU configs and 14th-generation configs, yes. On 10/12-gen configurations, DDR4 only. We can configure either at order time.
